Uodix Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 16, 2026

Uodix is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected when you access or use Uodix, including any user-generated content, account tools, safety features, and Apple App Store in-app purchase features made available through the service.

1. Scope and Eligibility

This Privacy Policy applies to the Uodix mobile application, related support communications, moderation interactions, and other services that link to this policy. By using Uodix, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The service is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, set up a profile, communicate with us, submit reports, or use app features. This may include your email address, login details, profile information, display name, support messages, feedback, reports, appeals, and any content you decide to upload, post, send, or store through the service.

2.2 User-Generated Content

Because Uodix may include community, profile, posting, commenting, messaging, or similar interactive features, we may process text, images, audio, metadata, captions, reactions, notes, complaint records, blocked-user records, and other user-generated content or activity associated with your account.

2.3 Safety, Moderation, and Abuse Prevention Data

We may collect information needed to operate safety systems, detect misuse, investigate reports, enforce our rules, and protect users. This may include report history, moderation decisions, account restriction records, suspected abuse signals, device or session signals, fraud-prevention indicators, and logs related to harmful conduct, objectionable content, or misuse of the service.

2.4 Technical and Usage Data

We may automatically receive technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, identifiers permitted by your device or platform, general diagnostics, crash data, interaction logs, approximate region information derived from network requests, and records showing how features are used.

2.5 Permissions Data

If you choose to use features that require device permissions, we may process content or information accessed through your camera, microphone, or photo library. These permissions are requested only when needed for a feature that you actively choose to use.

2.6 Purchase and Entitlement Data

If you make a purchase, Apple processes payment information through the App Store. We do not collect your full payment card number or App Store payment credentials. We may receive transaction status, product identifiers, purchase confirmation, country or storefront information, and entitlement records needed to deliver digital items, unlock paid features, restore eligible purchases, maintain your account, prevent fraud, and respond to billing-related support requests.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal data for the following purposes:

5. UGC, Moderation, and Safety Processing

Uodix has zero tolerance for objectionable content, harmful behavior, or abusive use of the service.

Because the service may allow user-generated content or user interaction, we may use automated signals and human review to detect, limit, and respond to policy violations or unsafe activity. Safety processing may include pre-publication filtering, post-publication review, report handling, content restriction, account limitation, blocking features, warnings, suspensions, permanent removal, and preservation of evidence where necessary.

Prohibited areas may include pornographic or sexually explicit content, exploitative sexual content, disturbing or gross content, gambling or betting promotion, illegal drugs or controlled substance promotion, political discrimination, hate, harassment, threats, fraud, impersonation, privacy violations, and other abusive or unlawful material. We may process related content and enforcement records to keep users and the service safer.

If you submit a report, appeal, or safety complaint, we may process the report, related content, timestamps, account history, and action taken in order to investigate and respond.

6. Apple App Store In-App Purchases

Uodix offers digital features, digital content, or access options only through Apple App Store in-app purchase where such paid features are offered. No alternative external payment method is provided inside the iOS app for digital goods or digital functionality.

Before you confirm a purchase, the applicable product information and displayed price are shown through Apple's purchase flow. Billing, taxes where applicable, refunds, subscription or purchase management tools, and payment credential handling are controlled by Apple under Apple's platform rules and your App Store account settings.

We may use purchase records and entitlement status to grant access, verify digital items, prevent abuse, answer support requests, restore eligible purchases, and keep a record of your account entitlements.

7. Sharing, Service Providers, and Third Parties

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers, infrastructure providers, analytics or diagnostics providers, moderation support tools, customer support tools, legal advisers, or other processors acting on our behalf and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect users, to investigate fraud or abuse, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Apple separately processes payment and certain transaction information in connection with App Store purchases under Apple's own privacy terms. We are not responsible for Apple's independent data practices.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights including the right to access personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, and request portability of certain data.

You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests, and some rights are subject to exceptions or limitations under applicable law.

11. Retention, Account Deletion, and Data Deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining account integrity, preserving safety and moderation records, delivering purchases, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

If you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal data as required by applicable law, except where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, accounting, transaction, or legitimate business purposes.

If your account is removed for abuse or serious policy violations, we may keep limited records necessary to prevent repeat misuse, respond to legal requests, and protect users and the service.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, on a website or policy page, by email, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the service after the updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply to your future use, to the extent permitted by law.
